Since ordination he has served in various capacities in parishes in Texas, in Cali, Colombia, at St. Anne's in Detroit, Most Holy Trinity in Angleton, Texas, and more recently as Pastor and then Associate Pastor at Assumption Parish in Windsor, Ontario, which merged with two other parishes and became the "Windsor Heritage Catholic Family of Parishes". In 2023, some 36 years after first going to Cali, Father Maurice returned to the Basilian Fathers' Missions, this time as Procurator (director). In this capacity he preaches in parishes around North America to raise awareness and help finance our works in Mexico and Colombia, and works with our seminarians there in areas of preaching and Sacramental presiding.
